Dance To Life is a dance studio where they teach girls of all ages how to perfect their gift of dance.  They have classes for different age groups ranging from.  Additionally, they offer an aftercare program for their members.  Transportation is provided from local neighboring school.  Dance To Life Studio offers homework assistance, snack, and two hours of dance daily.

  •  4.62 billion people around the world now use social media,
  •  424 million in the last 12 months
  • The average daily time spent using social media is 2h 27m.

Ø  According to PEW Research Center 70% of social media users access their account at least once per day.  49% say they check their social media accounts multiple times per day.

What are the best time to post on social media?

As we all know social media is very popular among all age groups.  In business you must consider when is the best time to post? (Arens, 2021)

·         Facebook is considered the most used social media platform in the world

o   Best days and times – Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 9AM – 1PM

o   Worst day Saturday

·         Instagram has reinvented themselves by setting up new features like reels and enhanced stories

o   Best days and times – Tuesday 11AM – 2PM Monday through Friday 11AM

o   Worst day – Sunday

·         Twitter –

o   Best days and times – Wednesday 9AM – 3PM, Tuesday and Thursday 9-11AM

o   Worst day – Saturday

·         LinkedIn – More of a professional site

What should you post?

When posting to social media your content should be engaging.  It should showcase what products and services you provide. 

  • Post photos, videos, and infographics about your business.
  •  Post photos about your dance competitions.
  • Talk about how others can join.
  • Show some of the fun things you do there.   
  • Make some of your content interactive or have quizzes.

What are your Social Media Goals?

When you define your goals, this helps you determine where to post, what to post and how to target your audience.

  • Learn about the needs wants and habits of your audience and customers
  • Increase traffic to your site and boost sales
  • Establish new audience and demographics
  • Identify new leads and prospects
  • Increase brand awareness and exposure

Social Media Marketing Budget

This is a document that outlines how your money will be spent.  Set a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly budget.  This can be a simple excel spreadsheet that outlines money flow. Determine how small or large your budget will be. (Newberry, 2021)

Additionally, consider hiring a social media manager.  They will assist with your social media marketing.  They will guide you on how to market your business and build your brand.  They can also inform you on what content you should posting, and how, where, when and what to post.

Conduct a social media analysis to determine your marketing progress.  If you see improvements, continue with your marketing efforts.  There are several tools to use for this research.  Hootsuite has plenty of information on social media marketing for you to use and review.
